Think and Grow Rich shows what a lateral thinker is
I love seafood, so there was no way I was going to pass up the opportunity to enjoy some a fabulous dinner at my favorite seafood restaurant, even if it was a working dinner, and even if I was sure that the conversation would turn to work.
And turn it did. Before we even sat down. Ho hum.
I was sat there with a glazed look on my face, eating my food and nodding occasionally; eventually though something caught my ear. “Sex”. Wow. Was I listening now!
It turns out that the girls were talking about Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, a self development book that I owned, I recommended to people, but I never read. Ooops. How can Sex and a book called Think and Grow Rich have a massive sex content, I hear you ask. Well, chapter 11 – step 10 in the plan – is all about “The Mystery of Sex Transmutation”.
As I said I owned Think and Grow Rich, so when I got home I delved straight in. Sure enough, there it was. A whole chapter on it. I went on to read the rest of the book and boy am I glad that I did. It’s full of really interesting ideas and it is well written. Even if you’re not obsessed with sex, I honestly do think that there will be something in Think and Grow Rich for you!
