Synopsis:
Liberty League International has been around since 2000. Liberty League is a personal development company that has been one of the biggest direct sales companies this decade.
Liberty League International is a perfect example of what bad publicity can do to a company. In 2005 the Arizona Attorney Generals office received complaints from some individuals who had joined Liberty League International and did not receive the results they had anticipated. The AG office did an investigation of Liberty League International and found a few discrepancies. Liberty League was fined $114,000 and was required to make some minor changes to adhere to state regulations.
Having undergone a complete review by the AG office and only receiving a minor fine actually verifies that Liberty League is a legitimate home business opportunity. But what resulted from the AG’s actions was that it allowed the competitors to use the AG findings to convince opportunity seekers, through the message boards and web in general, that Liberty League International was a scam. Although Liberty League is still in business they have never recovered from the negative publicity.
Liberty League has been a pioneer in the growth of the direct sales industry but their future outlook is bleak. The LLI products and compensation plan seriously pale in comparison to it’s competitor LifePath Unlimited who has emerged as the leader in the personal development genre. Many of the top income earners in the direct sales industry got their start with Liberty League although most have moved on to other opportunities.
Products:
Liberty League International provides a three-tiered product line in the personal development genre. The entry-level product is called Beyond Freedom a 90 day personal development home study course. It includes one DVD, 3 CD’s a workbook and a journal. Beyond Freedom retails for $1,595
The second product is the Liberty conference. This is a 3 day conference for two people. This is an interactive conference with top inspirational speakers. Past speakers have included notables such as Michael Losier, Andy Andrews and Patrick Combs. The Liberty conference ticket retails for $7,995 for the conference but does not include hotel accommodations and evening meals.
The final product is the Summit conference. A five-day event held annually at locations around globe, such as Rome, South Africa and Australia. This conference takes the concepts from the Liberty conference to the next level and has included notables such as Bob Proctor. The Summit conference retails for $12,995 for two attendees, but does not include accommodations or evening meals.

The Beyond Freedom course is Liberty League’s primary product. The two co-founders produced the course. Without the income opportunity attached, this course would have very little value and as far as we can ascertain, this course has not been updated or improved upon, except for the packaging. If you read the book “Think and Grow Rich” you can attain the same information.
The Liberty and Summit conferences provide good content from top of the line speakers and presenters and included the fire walk at a Summit conference. Although the content and presenters are good, the conference as a whole is very limited in that it has fairly short sessions each day. In the past these conferences were all inclusive and a good value. Now the conferences no longer even include the rooms at the resort.
Marketing Systems:
Liberty League does not supply a marketing system. Various teams in Liberty League have developed their own systems for marketing.
Citizen Corps Systems Review:

No real outstanding system exists. Liberty League has a very nice corporate back office that is packed with information, but does not provide contact lead management, pre-made websites or any direct business presentations.
Startup Costs:
Liberty League International Associate fee - $49.95
Monthly corporate website required to maintain associate status - $39.95
Subscription to training and business presentation conferencing system $99 every 3 months.
800 number voice messaging system approximately $25 per month
Beyond Freedom - $1,595 (Not required but our analyst’s agree this is a must)
Note: Profit is not earned on the Liberty and Summit products until associates qualify as advisors for those products. Purchase of the products accelerates the qualification as an advisor. After purchasing the product, the advisor that made the sale must still receive 4 more sales in order to qualify that purchaser as an advisor. Associates can obtain qualification without purchasing the product by referring 5 sales of these products to their sponsor.
First year startup cost $2,722
Advertising necessary to make sales not included in these costs.

Liberty League is the only company we have reviewed that requires the associates to pay for access to the training and presentation conference lines and one of the few that require monthly payments to maintain the corporate self replicating website. The $2,722 first year costs do not include any internet marketing systems.
Compensation Plan:
Liberty League International utilizes a 2 up compensation plan for the Beyond Freedom product. After purchasing the Beyond Freedom product the new associate must refer two new customers that pay the sponsor for the products and then they will earn the $1,000 profit from the third sale and all following sales.
The Liberty conference includes a profit of $5,000. New associates must either personally refer 5 Liberty product sales and the total of $25,000 profit to their advisor or purchase the product themselves but will still need 4 more people to purchase the Liberty Conference from their advisor in order to be qualified to sell the product. The 4 people may or may not come from that associate’s customer base.
The Summit conference utilizes the same compensation structure as the Liberty conference with the profit for each ticket being $8,000.

This is a compensation model that has been around for more than a decade. While it does provide the ability to earn a multiple six figure income, the passing up of sales at all three levels delays any income earnings for the new associate. The passive sales do increase the earning potential, however these are not self sustaining and do not provide any long term passive residual income. Having to make 3 sales before any profit is earned is the biggest drawback of the 2 up system. Statistically many people run out of initiative or funding prior to completing the two sales, causing a high dropout rate for the 2 up compensation plan. This high failure rate has added to the bad publicity for Liberty League.
