Games for Mobile Phone on the Rise
There is a massive range in quality when it comes to playable iPhone games. There is a huge range in the price that are being asked to play these games, too.
Some membership sites offer unlimited downloads of iPhone games for a single upfront payment or for a monthly fee; some of these are well worth the money paid whereas others are tantamount to thievery. Naturally finding which of these two categories your site of choice falls into is difficult at best, impossible at worst.
At the other end of the scale are the freebie games, the demos of upcoming releases, the tasters and the (mostly free) browser-based games. These vary in quality and longevity. The browser iPhone games are constrained by the capabilities of the browser itself and as a results are generally simpler than those downloaded and played direct.
Stepping into the shadows for a while we can see another option: downloading games (sometimes illegally cracked games) from P2P, torrent and ‘warez’ sites. This route risks all sorts of bad things (not least a trip to the Big House) but is probably most notable for the viruses that you could catch. Still, if that’s your thing and you’re willing to take the risk this might be a rich vein of iPhone games downloads.
