Effects of smoking Salvia compared to other drugs
My dog is my best friend and I really trust his judgment. This is why I had the old boy around with my when I first tried smoking Salvia.
I’d heard a lot about Salvia on the news (ironic that the most I’d heard of it was when the outcry to have it banned was starting to fire up) and I’d been interested in what they were trying to ban. I’ve got a renegade attitude like that. I did some research and bought some leaves and some concentrated extract. I intended to try smoking Salvia.
The leaves were fine: I chewed them and felt slightly tingly. I can’t say I had a heightened senses or any particular talent for mind-bending or spiritual healing, but I certainly felt something.
Smoking Salvia was the next step, and away I went. I had my dog, my pipe and my Salvia. The experience was like nothing I’d come across before and it is safe to say that smoking Salvia really does mess up your mind. Thankfully it’s not a permanent mess; less thankfully the trip lasted a few short minutes only. I was expecting something a bit more substantial like LCD or mushrooms. But then substantial drugs come with substantial jail terms, so perhaps it’s not such a bad thing!
