The origin of that statement is unknown and probably just completely made up since there is no way to actually calculate that statistic.

What we know for sure is that the only way to fail in the Home Business Industry is to quit.

The first thing to take into consideration is what you are looking for in a home business. Decide whether you are looking for a real business that you can create a six or even seven figure income, which is very possible with a home business, or if you only want a a way to make some quick money on the internet with very little effort.

If what you are searching for is a way to make easy money without having to put forth an effort, then chances are you are just going to throw some money away. A lot of people want to just throw some money at some magic money making system and make some quick money. The fact is that there are a lot of people out there that know this and will play on that desire to get you to give them some money. You can recognize these schemes by the promises they make such as “you can begin earning within minutes with just three clicks of the mouse”.

In deciding to start a home business you should go into it with the understanding that you will need to put forth effort and money in order to earn a six figure or multiple six figure income with your home business. Generally speaking anyone can learn how to be successful in a home business, but it does require learning some new skills. Earning a multiple six figure income always requires a skill set. With a home business you can learn these skills in months as opposed to years that required for say a doctor. A home based business is the best opportunity for the majority of people to earn that type of income or in fact to become wealthy. The home business industry creates more millionaires than any other industry.

Any home business that doesn’t have a network marketing component isn’t a viable option. My people assume that Network Marketing means Multi level marketing or MLM. MLM is only one form of network marketing. Network marketing simply refers to the business model of a product supplier and individuals that provide the advertising and sales of that product. Along with that is a compensation plan that rewards people for also recruiting other sales reps into the business. In short you earn money from your own efforts and off of those that are in your sales organization.

Every home business in network marketing has the exact same format. First you advertise to generate leads. Second you present the information about the opportunity to the prospect and last you simply get any questions answered and show them how to get started just like you did. It’s a very simple process that is shared by all home business opportunities.

Second thing to consider is the information presented. It’s a 3 step process. You answer an ad then get the information and last get questions answered.

If you were looking at OneX, which is a $5 program it would take a lot of new members to accomplish your goal. On the other end of the spectrum is Avant. Avant is a top tier program which means bigger dollars from fewer people.

The last thing to look at is the products. The products need to be real and the company has to actually be providing the products when someone purchases. The fact is that the people you are recruiting are coming for the business opportunity and not for the products.

The most important thing about staring a home based business is to start that business as you would any other business. If you take the approach that you are going to “try” it out then you are doomed to fail. It’s a business like any other. Start with confidence that you are going to succeed and work till you do.
