Club Sea Breeze Review

Club Sea Breeze failed to make the grade. This business is no longer available
Synopsis:

Club Sea Breeze is the newest entry into what has become the hottest market in the home business industry which is discount travel. Club Sea Breeze launched in April 2010 founded by Kelly Williams who became widely known for building a large down-line in Tvi Express. Although inexperienced as a owner in network marketing, Kelly has been very active in advancing the Club Sea Breeze business adding in a marketing system as well as enhancements to the compensation plan. The willingness to continue to change and grow is a vital component to a successful network marketing owner.

Some major changes were announced in June of 2010 were the catalyst for our updated review.

Products:

Club Sea Breeze main product and core of the business is the CSB Travel Membership. This is a membership to the travel discounts provided by HTOA. It allows a customer to login and purchase discount week long vacations at resorts around the world. They offer two levels of membership, a three year membership and a lifetime membership.

The Club Sea Breeze  product ClubSeaBreezeWeeks is the exact some product as LGN Prosperity‘s LGN Travel Card product. This is the exact same membership provided by HTOA. Not that it is a bad product, in fact discount travel is a great product for online business, it comes down to price. Club Sea Breeze offers a 3 year membership for $369 and lifetime membership for $569. LGN offers unlimited use of the travel card for a one time cost of $269.These products are identical. Both provide online access to the complete inventory available with HTOA (Holiday Travel Of America)

The recent changes announced by Club Sea Breeze included raising the product price. The price increase allows for more money in the compensation plan, but the higher price of the product does lower the rating of the product itself.

Marketing Systems:

Club Sea Breeze Provides a marketing system to all associates. This includes a back office, training and sales assistants.

Citizen Corps Systems Review:

3star

Kelly Williams does a great job of presenting the opportunity online. A great set of videos detailing the products and compensation plan. Although the presentations are very thorough they may be a little much for the average opportunity seeker. The videos themselves are long and have no playback controls to all the user to pause and rewind. Navigation is a little cumbersome and not intuitive.

Overall this recently released marketing system is a good start and bodes well for future enhancements.

Startup Costs:

$24.95 Monthly Associate Fee
$369 Three Year Travel Membership Product Purchase or $569 Lifetime Membership. (To earn money you either make this purchase or make a retail only sale of the product.)

Total $393.95 or $593.95

$393.95 is definitely low cost to get started in any business that has a multiple six figure annual potential.

Compensation Plan:

Club Sea Breeze has titled their compensation plan “The Panel Revolution”. This is a variation of a 2 By 2 Forced Filled Splitting Matrix.  The panel has 7 positions and starts with the first three positions filled. Four more people are sponsored by any of the three initially on the panel, or those added to the panel, to complete the panel. The panel is rearranged with the associates with the highest number of qualifiers moving to the higher positions. The person in the first position moves off and re enters a new panel under their sponsor. If they were qualified on that matrix ( i.e. 2 people they sponsored were on the matrix) they collect $500 otherwise with only one they collect $250.

The remaining 6 people are split into two new panels. Each new matrix has 4 new positions to fill and the cycle starts over. They are entered into the new panel in order they ended up on the previous panel. ( referred to as Jump over)

Sponsor bonus: Whenever someone earns a payout on a matrix the person that sponsored them earns a bonus of either $50 or $250 depending on their associate status (Silver for 3 Year members and Gold for Lifetime members of the Travel Club.

Income is also earned on each product sale. $50 for Silver associates and $50 for Deluxe Memberships (3 Year) and $250 for Lifetime membership sales for Gold level associates.

Leadership pool: A little money is put into a pool on each cycle and split amongst leaders in proportion to their team size.

The panel style version of this compensation plan does provide a much faster reward for associate that are making sales. The addition of income from each sale and overrides does increase the earning potential for associates.

Kelly does a good job of explaining his reasoning behind the design of the compensation plan. He based the compensation plan of the concept of providing a good income even if the associate was alone without the benefit of a successful team. Although this isn’t entirely bad it does reduce potential income that network marketing does allow with the power of leverage. Sponsor bonuses or overrides being earned only on the directly sponsored associate doesn’t tap into the power of leverage of each level in a down-line being significantly larger than the level above.

Overall a good compensation plan but really misses out on opportunity for leveraging a successful sales organization.

An interesting note to the compensation plan is the ability to have multiple “profit centers” in the compensation plan. This is accomplished via retail sales to customers choosing not to become associates. The associate making that sale gets another position in the compensation matrix referred to as a “profit center”. In the United States and some other countries it is against compliance regulations to allow a single individual to purchase multiple positions in the compensation matrix. This regulation is intended to stop what is commonly referred to as front end loading. Basically a method some network marketers have utilized to artificially cycle matrices to capture income. This results in abandoned positions which has a negative impact on other associates in the affected matrices. We are curious to see if this passes regulatory compliance reviews.
