Ares is the network that you want!
Most websites are just there to serve a purpose. Sad but true fact: most really aren’t very interesting or all that useful. So when I find a website that is both interesting and useful, it really makes me sit up and listen. This happened when I found OfficialAres.com recently. This website is the Doyen of all websites dealing with Ares downloads and music filesharing: it has more useful information in one section than most sites have in their entirety.
Most interesting — and for most people the most useful — is the reviews section. This area of the site compares and contrasts the different versions of Ares that are available (and there are a few). If the reviewers don’t like the software then they will say so. This honesty is what makes this section essential reading for anyone new to the Ares downloads game.
Also of great utility to those of us with the misfortune to have Windows Vista are the tips pages and the FAQ. The FAQ includes a great article on how help your version of Ares to get past the draconian security measures imposed carte blanche by the operating system.
This really is a very good website that I can definitely say is worth a long look. Add to your favorites list now!
